Why FBRH Consultants?
Client Commitment - letter by Simon Pitsillides
Our clients expect and deserve the best.
As a staunch supporter of businesses and after my many years of experience supporting blue chip clients through FBRH, I firmly believe that sustainability/CSR reporting in accordance with the GRI framework is a crucial element for companies to succeed in the long term. Crucial not only in the effort to protect our fragile environment and battle climate change but also for companies in identifying and taking action on their most important impacts on stakeholders that can hold them back from reaching their objectives. Sustainability reporting is an important tool that helps companies maintain and increase their value.
Sustainability and building long-term, trusting relationships
Our number one objective is sustainability and building long-term, trusting relationships between clients and their stakeholders. FBRH Consultants assists clients in using the Global Reporting Initiative’s (GRI) Framework in order to maintain and increase the value of their company. The Global Reporting Initiative’s (GRI) G4 framework acts like a radar for companies to be able to identify their most significant impacts and risks and take action before it is too late. The FBRH team combines its expertise and knowledge of the GRI framework with the art of writing, communication and stakeholder engagement to provide clients with a robust methodology to achieve their goals.
FBRH Consultants Ltd is committed towards meeting and exceeding client needs - both explicit and implicit - and providing unmatched service standards in all areas.
FBRH - GRI Certified Training Partner
FBRH is a Certified Training Partner and an Organisational Stakeholder of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). Committed to promoting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), we firmly believe that GRI Standards spark a positive chain reaction that is changing our world by concentrating, measuring and empowering action on 'what matters where it matters'.
The FBRH 2-day GRI Certified Training course helps participants understand the sustainability context and coordinate the reporting process. It has been designed on the basis of a globally accepted methodology and adapted to the needs of companies locally. The FBRH GRI Certified Training course spans 2 days (16 training hours) and covers various aspects of sustainability reporting, including: leading practices, interactive case studies and discussions and latest trends, along with insights on the challenges and opportunities associated with sustainability reporting.
The FBRH GRI Certified Training course will help participants:
- Learn about GRI’s reporting framework
- Conduct stakeholder engagement and materiality assessment
- Develop report content
- Manage assurance procedures
- Communicate their report
Producing CSR reports based on the GRI Framework since 2008
Since 2008 we have managed over 30 CSR reports (project management, preparation and communication) for major corporations based on the GRI Framework. Client needs are assessed and internal and external experts in different fields are formed in a team to provide the best possible results in every way.
CSR has assumed an increasingly strategic importance for companies keen to build and maintain stakeholder trust and is gradually becoming mandatory for organizations across the globe. At this point let it be mentioned that according to Directive 2014/95/EU all large companies (companies, that is, with more than 500 employees) within the EU must disclose relevant non-financial information to their stakeholders.
Clear and effective messages: combining expertise to bring out the best in your CSR report
The FBRH team combines its expertise and knowledge of the GRI framework with the art of writing and the art of creating well-thought-out digital and print publications to convey important messages in a clear and concise way.
As a Certified Training Partner of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), FBRH knows how to identify 'what matters where it matters' and advise companies on:
a) how to spot their most crucial impacts on the environment and their stakeholders and
b) how reports should be crafted to communicate effectively a company’s actions to stakeholders.
Engaging with stakeholders
One of the most important pillars of CSR reporting is engaging with stakeholders in a meaningful way. FBRH provides highly specialized advice on how to communicate accurately and honestly with key stakeholders affected by a client’s activities, products and services, with communication tailored specifically to identify stakeholder expectations and interests in a client’s operations. Armed with this information, clients can take action using the GRI reporting framework and minimize possible negative impacts on their stakeholders whilst enhancing their positive impacts. Such a structured and methodological approach to CSR Reporting is helping clients achieve Economic, Social and Environmental success.
